The minutes of the Vestry meeting held on Thursday, June 30, 1927, were read and confirmed.
The Vicar explained in the matter of employing an architect for the Clergy Vestry and Side Chapel, that the architect he would like to employ could not undertake the work earlier than February of next year.
Mr Denbee moved and Mr Smith seconded That consideration of the question of employing an architect be held over until the next meeting of the Vestry. Carried.
The Vicar moved and Mr Denbee seconded That Mr Major be informed that the Vestry are not prepared to depart from their previous offer of £20 in full settlement of Messrs Stevenson & Ferguson's account for repairs to Organ Engine. Carried.
Messrs Hale and Smith were appointed to take up offertories for August.
The meeting closed with the Grace.
