A quiet wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church yesterday by the Rev. J. Walker, when Miss M. Dixon, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Dixon, of Masterton, was married to Mr A. Prain-Ambler, of Johnsonville.
The bride was given away by her father. Miss V. Dixon (chief) and Miss E. Collinge attended the bride as bridesmaid.
Mr H. Clarkson acted as best man, and Mr Noel Herbert as groomsman.
After the ceremony the relatives and immediate friends of the bride and bridegroom were entertained at “Farnham” by the parents of the bride.
The beautiful shower bouquets carried by the bride and bridesmaids were the gifts of Misses Scott and Green.
