The wedding of Miss Mollie Collier, daughter of Mr and Mrs E. A. Collier, Masterton, to Mr Charles Devore Colling, only son of Mr and Mrs A. C. H. Collins, New Plymouth, took place at St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton, on Saturday evening.
Gowned in ivory needlerun lace, the bride made a very charming picture as she entered with her father, Her veil of ivory tulle was fastened with a satin petalled coronet, and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies.
The bridesmaids were Miss Erma Buick, Masterton, in Margaret Rose pink lace, and Miss Jean Collins, New Plymouth, in Jubilee blue lace. Each wore a coronet of fresh flowers in her hair.
Mr Neville Whiteman attended the groom as best man, and Mr Harry Robinson was the groomsman. When the ceremony was over, the guests were received at the bride’s at their home in Third Street, Lansdowne.
