The minutes of the last vestry meeting held on Thursday, September 27 1928 were read and confirmed.
The Hon. Sec. St Matthew's Tennis Club applied for permission to lay down the far tennis court in asphalt in lieu of grass. Mr Hale moved and Mr Rosewarne seconded that the application "Be Granted". Carried.
It was resolved that the matter of arranging a date for a Special meeting for the purpose of considering finance be left in the hands of the Vicar.
Mr Clarke moved and Mr Hale seconded that the cross at the East end of the Church be replaced by Mr Miller. Carried.
The Vicar moved that Messrs Hyde and Clarke be elected members of the Hall Committee and that an early meeting by the Committee be arranged. Seconded by Mr Hale and carried.
The Vicar moved that the Fin. Statement as appearing on Pag 699 be adopted and accounts appearing thereon passed for payment.Â
It was resolved that the Notice Board be repainted and that the matter of arranging for same be left to the Vicar.
