OLIVER—LOADER. A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Alban’s Church, Taueru, on Wednesday, the contracting parties being Mary Ann Maud Oliver, second daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Oliver, Taueru, to James Phillip Loader, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J. T. Loader, of Taueru, the Rev. O. Gibson officiating.
The bridesmaid was Miss L. Loader, and best man Mr H. G. Loader, of Greytown. The bride looked charming in a white embroidered organdie muslin frock with orthodox veil and orange blossom, and was given away by her father. The bridesmaid wore white organdie muslin.
The reception was held in the Taueru Hall, where the numerous guests were entertained by the bride’s parents.
Later the happy couple left for the south by motor, the bride’s travelling dress being a grey coat frock with hat to match. The wedding cake was made by a very old friend of the bride, Mr J. Watson, of Masterton. There were many beautiful wedding presents, including cheques.
