Note: Gwenda Eleanor Gibson married Wilfred Wrigley Payne on 15 June 1927. On 20 August 1930, Mr Payne, a senior clerk of the Telegraph Engineer's office,  was returning from a business visit to Tinui when the 'motor truck' he was driving overturned outside Tinui. He was pinned under the vehicle and was pronounced dead shortly after being removed from the vehicle.
