The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr W. Groves, was charmingly attired... The bridesmaids were Miss Nell Foreman (chief), Ray Cole and Sylvia Wilkinson... Little Norma Fly, flower girl, wore a dainty pink dress... Mr Colin McDonald was best man, and the Rev. W. Bullock was the officiating clergyman. After the ceremony a reception was held in St. Matthew's Parish Hall, the young couple leaving later for the south on their honeymoon trip.
