"The death occurred at his residence, Coradine Street, Masterton, yesterday of Mr. William Angus, after a long indisposition, at the age of 42 years. The late Mr Angus served in the Great War where he was gassed. He suffered from the effects of the gas ever since, on his return being compelled to give up a soldier section at Brancepeth on account of ill-health. He is survived by a widow and one child and a brother resides in Wellington. The funeral, to which returned soldiers are invited to attend will take place to-morrow afternoon at 3 o'clock."
