A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church yesterday, the Rev. W. Bullock officiating, when Miss Amy F. Graham, of Masterton, was married to Mr McLean Rayne, also of Masterton.
The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a gown of white crepe-de-chine and georgette. Her bridal veil was held by sprays of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet.
Miss J. Rayne attended as maid of honour, and wore a frock of pale blue georgette and black hat, and carried a pretty bouquet of spring flowers.
Miss Marjorie Rayne, in heliotrope frock and hat to match, acted as flower girl. Mr Len Stimpson was best man.
After the ceremony, a reception was held in the Park Kiosk. Later Mr. and Mrs Rayne left for the North, the bride travelling in a navy blue Costume with hat to match.
